Sometimes we do not want to accept the truth or we would rather keep it a secret. “Who is Sergey Brin?” In my story about the dim and distant past, he was my family. At that time, his name was just Sergey. He was my younger brother then. I was like a mother and father to him - I was everything he had in the whole world. The love I had to my younger brother gave me strength to survive the difficulties day after day. We moved from place to place those days in the big city of Moscow and all of a sudden one day, some bad people came looking for us. They were carrying guns and were searching for something everywhere around our house. They wanted to take us somewhere. We were in great danger. At this moment, I somehow managed to hide Sergey and protect him. But none of you was there to see the tears in his eyes, when he realized that in order to save his life I had to lose mine. The last scene of this film hasn’t survived until today. It is LOST FOREVER. I have kept in my memories only the sad feelings I had that he was left alone in this world. I was crying for him, not for me. Today, when I am telling you about these secret events I am feeling deep sadness, because life has no meaning and we, the people, make mistakes. I was reborn again and again in the world of the people without even remembering anything about my little brother. And yet, at some time in our lives something happens to help us find out the truth about our previous life. It was December 2005. Someone cried on the Internet: “Let’s celebrate for the first time the International Day of the Internet! Let’s celebrate it freely and let’s express our love!” This cry is still present on the first page of the site www.empireinternet.org, which was made by the talented children of Bulgaria, supported by the foundation “Talents for Ecology and Charity”. I founded this foundation six years ago. I have been working in support of the young talented children in Bulgaria, who have put a lot of efforts and showed their skills in learning to make websites and present and advertise them on the Internet. It was a difficult beginning and our hope for help and support was in the world of Internet itself. I used to seek for ways to encourage and guide these children, so that they could keep their enthusiasm and high spirits. We touched the infinite world of the Internet for the first time then. I have seen a lot of things since then- an endless number of events, people, characters and news. I have a degree in Painting and despite my ability to paint, after I had found the world of the Internet, I realized that my life belonged to it- to the changing images on the screen with just the clicking on the mouse. That’s how the photo of Sergey Brin appeared one day in front of me, after the clicking on the mouse. Sergey Brin founded Google together with his friend Lary Page. I kept on searching for different things on the Internet, but somehow I came back to this photo again and again. I would look at him repeatedly and I wondered why it seemed to me that I knew him very well and it was like I hadn’t seen him for a long time. This feeling kept following me night after night. I wondered what made me think about that all the time. Then I just looked on the Internet for someone who could help the foundation for talented children. One of these children is my son. Then I found out what was making me nervous. |
